Annual Leave and Personal/Carer’s Leave: Common Misconceptions

For each year of service, an employee (other than a casual employee) is entitled to 4 weeks of paid Annual Leave and 2 weeks of paid Personal/Carer’s Leave (also known as Sick Leave). These leave entitlements accrue progressively during a year of service and rollover from year to year.
